cuts in truckin and playin, really???
the title says it all. its bad enough every china>rider; scarlet>fire; help>slip>franklins are all cut, but who in the hell would cut the jams in truckin and playing? As for the show itself, sounds good to me!
While 9/11 gets its (deserved) accolades, this one most everyone agrees (even Phil) is rather dismissive. That being said, there's one of those big, wide, beautiful, watery Playin's here, as well as that so-called "Wood Green Jam" out of Truckin' - both from this show are worth giving a listen to, if nothing else.

Not THat Great
Agrred with the person below me. One of the dullest from '74. I honestly think that Dick'sPicks did not come out with any of the really good '74 shows.

euro (trash) '74
not a great one by any means, this is the least interesting music included on DP#7.
and this is a decent Truckin>jam>Wharf Rat performance at best, pretty flaccid actually. far from one of the best of the year...

Patch in the DP Truckin'>jam, it's a little better SQ...
...and it's also one of the best "Truckin'" jams of '74, the best year for 'em.
Scarlet B (d1t1)
Row Jimmy (d1t3)
Jam ('Wood Green Jam')-> (d2t7)

Short but sweet
This short (and partial) show from the first show of a 7 night European tour takes a little while to warm up, but by the time they reach Playin' they deliver one of those magical '72-'74 versions of the song (though Donna is not at her best here). It's too bad the end of the show is missing, because what's here of the 2nd set is great (excellent Truckin' jam) and a good precursor to the 2 amazing shows at the same venue that followed.
